Selah House is a licensed, private mental health institution that offers a professional eating disorder treatment program for women suffering from anorexia, bulimia, and eating disorder NOS (we do not treat binge eating disorder). Selah House’s clinical staff members are experienced and credentialed to care for clients requiring acute inpatient eating disorder treatment along with accompanying diagnoses such as: coexisting mood disorders, anxiety, or PTSD. The program offers a high staff-to-client ratio which contributes to clinical improvement and human connection.

Selah House is committed to providing an intentional residential setting while still maintaining 24-hour medical care. Our 8-bed facility is located in the Midwest in central Indiana. Selah has provided help and counseling for women from around the US and Canada.

Selah is Christian-based, but women from all faiths have completed our program and felt accepted. Clients vary in how much they want to focus on faith in their treatment, and we respect each person's decision.

A comprehensive assessment is offered to gain individualized eating disorder treatment recommendations from our experienced, Multi-disciplinary team. The session usually takes a couple of hours and can be done over the phone if excessive travel issues make it necessary. Medical testing and evaluation is done as well. This assessment is required for admission into any of our programming and is highly recommended for those who just want a good professional picture of the seriousness and prognosis of the eating disorder for themselves or a loved one. Our 8-bed facility is small by design to provide an intimate, home-like setting where clients not only gain freedom from eating disorders through our multi-faceted treatment approaches, but interact with others in the program to grow and learn together. The 63-acre estate provides beautiful places to sit and reflect throughout the programming.
